T O P I C R E V I E WBekzillaI spent many, many hours trying to pick a wedding date that was astrologically sound (no void of course moon, no bad Saturn juju, etc.), and making sure that neither myself nor my fiancé had any hard transits on that day. There was no perfect day of course, but we settled on a decent one. Yesterday, on a whim, I looked again at my finance’s transits for our wedding day, which is only 1 month away, and I saw something awful. Just... AWFUL. Transiting Neptune will be applying a square (1 degree) with his 7th house ruler which is also in his 7th house. I’m freaking out and can’t find squat on this on the internet. This is bad, right? I mean really, really bad? Is he deluding himself that he actually wants to get married?? Is he going to change his mind in a few years??I’ll spare any background (would like your purest opinion) except to say that I wouldn’t be worried even a tad if he weren’t already a Sun inconjunct Moon loon by birth. And don’t know if it means anything or not, but I’ve had Neptune hovering over my sun for quite some time now, and it aint going anywhere anytime soon. I personally see this as a reflection of where I am in life on a professional level though- was admitted to grad school but might have to defer, and job is driving me up the wall. I just don’t know which end is up in that regard. Your thoughts, positive or negative would be much appreciated! Electro DGXI think that it just means your relationship matters will be soaked with a fog that makes everything unclear, along with no motivation in those areas. Neptune is very blurry and draining. BekzillaBlurry and draining... aint that the truth! Thanks, Electro! So would the square imply anything particular in terms of final outcome of the transit? I know it means "tough goings" while it's in action, but does it also imply a painful or negative outcome as a result of the transit? My first marriage (I was young) fell victim to Neptune, so to speak. We divorced just as Neptune was leaving my 7th, and there had been Neptune shenanigans on the day of the wedding. Don't remember if there were any Neptune personal transits though- will have to look that up again. RandallIs there any possibility you will change the date?Aries23DegreesNeptune sqaure does have its positives ya know...They escape me right now. But they are there. bacioI tend to consider transits of the slowest planets as indications of incoming energies. A square from Neptune to me at its purest would just indicate that he is fielding input regarding 7th house matters; input which has the effect of causing fog or confusion. Considering how slowly Neptune moves, to me this would make sense as a wedding approaches! He is likely getting a lot of input regarding commitment (whether solicited or not) which can certainly complicate and muddy things up! But on the other hand, sometimes dealing with interference can often be the only way to find out what we really want! If he has a controlling or jealous friend, or an "enemy" who dislikes his happiness, or even an invasive employer who doesn't want to give vacation time for a honeymoon, these could also be indicated here! Anyone with whom he has a contract.Negative, or even just confusing, input doesn't guarantee a negative outcome! Considering there is a month between now and the wedding maybe it would be good to open up communications and encourage clarity at every opportunity! Look for supporting aspects to his natal Neptune and 7th house ruler, and try employing some of your strongest synastry aspects to this joint endeavor! This can help give him the space and air time to find out his true feelings, rather than letting neptunian energy run unchecked.Would you mind saying which house Neptune occupies in his natal? + 7th house cusp ruler if that's ok!
